At 09:27 the Schuylkill Haven Fire Department RIT (Rapid Intervention Team) was dispatched to 501 West Savory Street, Palo Alto for a house fire. As RIT became enroute the Schuylkill County Communication Center advised of a working fire with entrapment.

Engine 63-14 arrived on the scene and staged as RIT on the A-side of the structure as other companies initiated fire suppression.

At 10:04, Chief 59, requested a Tanker Task Force (TTF) as hydrant pressure began to fail.

Tanker 63-34 responded and assisted with water supply. SHFD units remained on the scene for approximately 4 hours until the fire was successfully brought under control. Chief 59 assumed command of the incident. Photos Rick Kremer.
